My passion is to help people achieve self-understanding and self-awareness. When people understand themselves, they can make decisions based on current needs and the goals they have for life. Mental health is physical health
As a master’s student in Counselling Psychology, I am completing my practicum with Conscientia Counselling. I am passionate about supporting individuals on their unique paths toward growth, healing, and self-discovery.
My background is rooted in Disability Studies, and for over six years I have worked closely with neurodivergent children, developing a deep appreciation for the diverse ways people experience and navigate the world. This experience has strengthened my commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and empathetic space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
I take a strengths-based, collaborative approach, empowering clients to build on their existing abilities and discover strategies that fit their individual needs. My training and education have emphasized areas including self-regulation, trauma, addictions, neurodiversity, adolescents and families.
My approach to counselling draws from multiple modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Person-Centred, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). My goal is to offer evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each person’s unique needs and journey.
