I’m Claudia Lanuza, a practicum counsellor at Conscientia Counselling, where I’m passionate about creating a space where individuals feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. My journey into counselling stems from a deep desire to support others in their personal growth and to foster meaningful connections.

At the core of my work is a commitment to integrity, empathy, and respect. I believe in treating every client with dignity and without judgment, ensuring that their stories are heard in a confidential and compassionate environment.

My vision of life is grounded in the belief that every person has the potential to grow, heal, and find balance, no matter the challenges they face. I view counselling as a partnership in which clients are empowered to discover their strengths, and I am committed to walking beside them on this journey of self-discovery.

At Conscientia Counselling, I aim to offer guidance and support that honours the uniqueness of every individual, helping them move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. During my practicum, I’m excited to deepen my skills in active listening and to learn from the diverse experiences of the clients I will work with.

Hi there,

I’m so glad you’ve found yourself here. My name is Kristi Eberhardt and I am a Counselling Psychology Master’s student completing my practicum with Conscientia Counselling. I believe in self-advocacy and the power we each have to be our own greatest healers. My hope is to support you on your personal journey and meet you exactly where you are, leaning into the inner guidance you already hold. I apply my background as a biologist and experience as a mental health volunteer in remote industrial environments to recognize the mind-body connection and integrate somatic and mindfulness practices in my work. My counselling style centres on the therapeutic relationship, using a client-centered lens while also applying theory from emotion-focused therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. The first step is often the hardest step, and I commend you for moving forward on your wellness journey! I look forward to the opportunity to walk with you along this path and provide support, so you may embody the intrinsic value within you.

Kindly,

Kristi
