Welcome! I am Rachel Bradley, a dedicated and compassionate provisional psychologist with experience helping individuals and couples thrive in their relationships and personal lives.

My Background

I hold a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University, and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a CCPA and a Registered Provisional Psychologist with CAP. My professional journey has equipped me with specialized training in various therapeutic modalities, allowing me to offer a comprehensive and integrative approach to counselling. My journey has taught me compassion and love for my fellow human beings.

Areas of Expertise • Couples Counselling: I work with couples at all stages of their relationships to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance emotional and physical intimacy. Using the Gottman Method and other effective techniques, I tailor my approach to meet each couple’s unique needs, fostering deeper connections and lasting change. • Navigating Change: Life transitions can be challenging, whether they involve career shifts, personal growth, or major life events. I provide guidance and support to help you manage these changes with confidence and resilience. Together, we will develop strategies to cope with stress, set achievable goals, and embrace new opportunities. • Anxiety Management: Anxiety can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to control your life. I offer practical tools and techniques to help you understand and manage your anxiety, promoting a more balanced and fulfilling life. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and relaxation techniques to enhance mental well-being.

My Approach

I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, combining elements from: • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviours. • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT): To concentrate on finding solutions and achieving goals. • Strength-Based Therapy: To empower clients by focusing on their strengths and resources. • Gottman Method: To improve relationship dynamics and foster healthy communication. • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Explores and heals the different parts of the self. • Gestalt Therapy: To increase self-awareness and present-moment experiences.

I believe in a client-centred approach where the therapeutic relationship is built on trust, empathy, and respect. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where clients feel safe to explore their concerns and work towards meaningful change, with maybe a hint of humour thrown in for good luck!
